Well, we got the gizmo on the Monday and after the first treatment all three kids stopped itching the next day! On Thursday all we found were a few little ones; then on Sunday (treatment number 3) lots of tiny bugs. Then treatment 4 and 5 – no bugs, wonderful.  I got my friend to check me using the LiceSnatcher, we found one big fat louse the first time then no more – I escaped lightly.  I binned all the smelly lice chemicals and other stuff in my bathroom.

I'd been meaning to let you know.  I've been really impressed, and singing the praises of the LiceSnatcher to all who will listen.  In fact, a friend living just outside Paris may well be ordering from you shortly.  And the poster is up at school.

On inspecting the whole family, we found that only our two eldest were infested, but the little two year olds were quite happy to be hoovered.

The advice about how to avoid matting and backcombing was very good, and I certainly found following it to the letter made it work.  Practice also made perfect! And I really liked the way you didn't have to do it on wet hair, but if you did, it actually dried the hair in the process.  The children definitely preferred it to a normal nit comb, and I let them surf on my laptop at the kitchen table while hoovering, which made my son beg to be treated even after his nits were gone.  But what I liked best was the fact that you could pick up the tiniest nymphs and know that if you kept going until the filter came empty of anything moving you really knew where you were, and there was no danger at all of anything being left big enough to lay more eggs.  It appealed to the faintly obsessional side of my character!
